The topic about Android’s next version is the hot topic now. But we don’t know what Google will call it. It may be Android N or Marshmallow and the version maybe 7.0 or 6.0.1+. We don’t what will happen at Google I/O this year.
Yesterday, Google posted about their new Android Support Library v23.2 which gives us a small sneak peak on the Android’s next version. By seeing those screenshots, we can’t see anything right at first but when we closely notice up everything, we can see a hamburger menu on the top right. A hamburger menu is like a drawer which opens up from the side which lists out all sections which make it easier to jump from one thing to another thing.

It really looks like that it will be for sub menu’s navigation. But some people may say that how much easier does it make to browse sub menus because we can just hit the back button and then tap on the sub-menu that’s it.
But for now, we can’t tell anything to confirm about Android’s next version until Google I/O 2016. If you want to get the daily dose of all about Android, then make sure to follow up our blog.

If you live in one of the few countries LeEco (formerly LeTV) is present, you surely would know about their phones amazing looks, features, specs and lastly, their cheap price which doesn't burn your pocket. In India, it became so popular and had very good sales, after which the company offered benefits worth 8 Crore (80 Million) Rupees on their LeEco day which took place yesterday.

The Chinese company, which is a newbie in the smartphone industry is even newer to the “smart bike” sector.

This bike, made by LeEco surprisingly runs on Android and even has a fitness tracker on it.
If this isn't enough to surprise you, this cycle also had lasers. Yes, you read it correctly.
The bike is made of titanium and carbon  fiber. Between the handlebars of the cycle is what makes the cycle run on Android, a small phone.
The phone is running a special skin just for the bike. You can do the usual things like call people and send messages.

This was just an introduction to the cycle.

Sensors in the handle bar take your heart rate while you’re riding. This cycle is very good for getting directions, and every time you ride on the cycle, the journey is recorded.
This bike pretty much also gives you the feel of a motor bike. The handlebars have built-in indicator lights just like you see on cars and motorcycles. For the indicators to function, you just need to press a button, that simple.

Talking about the lasers, a red laser shines on the ground on your left and right side. This line is meant to show how close someone can get to you without scrapping your cycle.
Of course, this cycle isn't cheap. It runs on Android and has some cool features. Currently the Le Super Bike is already on sale on China for $800 and the company says it will reach the United States by next year.

We'll also keep you updated as to when it will reach other countries.

So are you interested to buy this bike?

Freedom 251 Manufacturer under Government Scanner over False claims and Uncertainty over Order Delivery

The much hyped, Freedom 251 smartphone from a less known company named Ringing Bells based in Noida has resumed accepting orders after huge traffic to their website forced them to pause the pre-orders on February 18. However, nothing seems to be working in favour of the company since their website keeps on crashing every second. Sometimes, a blank page is displayed after you select Pay Now button.
Meanwhile, sources associated with Telecom ministry is keeping a close watch over the developments but refused to intervene at this juncture.
The latest trick adopted by Ringing Bells is that you need to have to pay for the smartphone at the time of order placement. The order summary page states that the link for remitting the payment will be emailed to customers within 2 days. However, we are yet to receive a confirmation message via email after order placement even after one hour.
With people trolling Ringing Bells on Twitter with messages that they have ordered 0.5 unit of the smartphone at half the price, the company seems to have rectified the defect. As of writing this, the company has restricted one unit of the smartphone per customer.
The final order summary page was plagued with errors since the term ‘piece’ has been incorrectly stated as ‘peice’. Moreover, we inspected the whois records of the company and came to know that the domain was registered only on February 10, which is 7 days before the event was held in New Delhi.
Even though Ringing Bells claimed that they have invited Manohar Parrikar, Union Defence Minister, he could not attend the event held on February 17. While the company sources reveal that he was unable to attend due to a cabinet meeting, there could a possibility of his staff advising him not to attend since his name will be unnecessarily dragged into the controversy in the case of any foul play in future. However, the veteran leader Mr. Murli Manohar Joshi attended the event.
That being said, the Freedom 251 units distributed to the invites during the event have Adcom logo on it. However, the company has used white paint to conceal the name. Moreover, the rear side of the smartphone bears Indian flag color. On the other hand, few journalists have openly reported that the handset given to them doesn’t work.
Adcom has categorically denied that they are manufacturing Freedom 251 for Ringing Bells. The company revealed that they are in no way associated with Ringing Bells and their legal team will look into the matter concerning the use of their name.
While none of the people ordered the handset on the first day of the pre-order as per reports, we can’t believe the claim of Ringing Bells director Mohit Goel that 30,000 orders were placed on the first day.
Meanwhile, Goel in a statement clarified that the company has nothing to hide and all orders will be fulfilled before the end of June. The company is planning to manufacture 50 lakh units to meet the desire and aspirations of India.
Assuming an upfront payment of Rs. 291 per unit, including shipping charges, the company would manage to fetch Rs. 145,500,0000 if the reports of production of 50 lakh units turned out to be true.
As of writing this, we are able to access the website after several refresh attempts were made but we ended up seeing a blank page instead of the cart. However, we managed to place an order for one unit few hours back but still there is no confirmation email even after 3 hours.
In the meantime, the company has not shared the physical address of their office including the location of their factory where Freedom 251 will be manufactured. There is also a question mark over why the company hasn’t tied up with e-commerce companies like Amazon and Flipkart, who have better infrastructure in place than Ringing Bells.
With people being duped by various emails and SMS messages, security assumes great importance. In the case of Freedom 251, the company will email you the payment link after 48 hours of order placement but there is no assurance as far as security of the payment gateway is concerned. There can be a possibility of having your vital bank details stored on the servers and subsequent phishing. You should not pay if HTTPS protocol and security padlock are missing from your browser.
Freedom 251 is said to feature a 4-inch IPS display, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage (expandable up to 32GB via microSD card), a 3.2-megapixel primary and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera, 1,450mAh battery loaded with Android 5.1 at Rs. 291, which includes shipping cost of Rs. 40 per unit. The company has claimed that it has a service network of over 650 centers across India but refused to divulge the name and locations.
The million dollar question is here why the company has not announced the sale after the manufacture of adequate units of Freedom 251, which will possibly provide trust and credibility among people.
Interestingly, consumers have started to place orders and it remains to be seen whether the company really deliver the product before June end. Otherwise, the promoters will have to face serious consequences ranging from copyright infringement and misuse of Make in India tag.

Android N release date, name, features and Rumors

Android N release date, name, features and Rumors -

Android 7.0 Nectar, Nutella, Neopolitan, Nacho or Nougat (not Nugget)? Google has always named its Android OS updates after sweet treats, and in alphabetical order. So far we’ve had Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean, KitKat, Lollipop and Marshmallow.
The big hairy deal of the week is the announcement that this year’s Google I/O will run from 18 to 20 May. Google loves to create excitement in Android community through such situations. But as of recent interview of Sundar Pichai responding to a question during an interaction with students at Delhi’s Sri Ram College of Commerce, said that the company was open to naming the next version of Android – Android N – after an Indian sweet. He said that Google could conduct an online poll to decide on the name.
For now, our money is on Android 7.0 Nutella. As its a popular product all over the world. The notable exception of 4.4 version which was called KitKat, after the popular chocolate candy bar shows that the latest version, Android N would be Nutella, brand name of an Italian sweetened hazelnut cocoa spread. Google partnered with Nestle so it wouldn’t be surprising if the company partners with Nutella for Android N.
But that’s just our guess. Some other suggestions include Android Nacho, Android Nectar, Android Nougat (Android Nugget anyone?), Android Neopolitan and Android Nuts (probably a no-go). But as per the recent Polls, most of the users preferAndroid Nutella. So, most probably Android N will be named as Android Nutella. But again, its just a guess!

Android N Release date

Android N will get its first outing at Google I/O 2016, which has now been confirmed to run 18 to 20 May 2016. Google will offer an Android N Developer Preview, which you will be able to install on its current Nexus devices for early testing.
Later in the year, most likely October 2016 (although in 2015 we saw Google announce Android Marshmallow early at the end of September), the final version of Android N will be announced. It will ship preinstalled on whichever new Nexus devices Google creates for 2016 (Nexus 7?), most likely sticking to new Nexus phones, and will be available to download to older Nexus devices soon after. Other flagship Android devices will get the upgrade toward the end of the year or early 2017.

Android N Features

As we have already seen Android N will support Multi-window. It’s also been rumored that the next version of Android will ‘kill’ Chrome OS, and that the two operating systems will become one with Chrome folded into Android. This is something Google has apparently been working on for a long time and, while it has recently made some progress, the single OS isn’t expected to be ready until 2017, making it more likely that if any Android OS is to kill off Chrome OS it will be Android 8.0 O. Google will want to increase its market share with laptops (proper laptops rather than tablet hybrids) running Android, but for now the company has confirmed that both operating systems will continue to exist. So far only the Multi-windows features is disclosed by Google.
But, Google is expected to bring a big change for Chrome along with the above features. Since Sundar Pichai, the former head of Chrome and Android is now the CEO of Google, Android Headlines claims that he would unveil a preview version of the operating system later this year, and a final version of the merged OS may be launched in 2017.
Andrew Bowers said on Reddit during an AMA about the Pixel C that “we’d spoil the surprise of N if we shared all of them. Split screen is in the works!” Google may introduce this feature for tablets, making the larger devices more useful. Moreover, it can compete with Apple’s new software features on the iPad.

Google updates

Google Now launcher: If you’re using the Google Now Launcher you’ll be delighted to hear that it now actually makes icons appear to be all the same size rather than a mishmash of every developer’s designs that leaves your app screen looking like something out of a Escher painting.
Google Maps: Google Maps has been given even more contextual functionality with the arrival of an information spread based on where you are, where you’ve been and therefore where it thinks you’re likely to go. It can show snarl-ups delaying traffic, en route petrol prices and alternative routes, all of which it could do before but now does without you having to press anything.
In terms of actual new features in Android N it’s a bit too early too tell, especially given that most Android users are still waiting for the Marshmallow upgrade. However, we will continue to update this article until Android 7.0 N’s release, including new rumours and information as we hear it.

Google wants more “Apple-like” control over Nexus smartphones

Google wants more “Apple-like” control over Nexus smartphones

Google’s Nexus phones to date have been partnerships, where the hardware manufacturer lets its talents ships. The Nexus 6P may be Android’s ultimate reference device, but there’s no mistaking that Huawei made it. However, that relationship might be changing soon. Sources for The Information claim that Google is pushing for more control over Nexus phones, to the point where it would effectively reduce partners to contractors. The folks in Mountain View would design the hardware and software vendors would just make sure that those devices become reality. Think of products like the Pixel C if you need an example of where this might go.
Such a move could be risky. Nexus device makers don’t make much money from each device (Google keeps a 15 percent cut of sales, according to tipsters), and now they might not even get their name on the back. What would be the point, apart from promoting Android as a whole? However, there might be some takers. HTC is reportedly one of them — the cash-strapped company is supposedly in talks with Google about making more Nexus hardware, and the deal would give it a much-needed (if short-term) boost to revenue and shipments.

Google may consider it worth the price. The company still makes most of its mobile service revenue from iOS devices, which puts it in an uncomfortable position: Apple could make life miserable for Google if it wanted to. Fully Google-designed Nexus phones might not only give Android a bigger share of the high-end phone market (where Apple thrives), but produce a better showcase for Google services.
